About Us - - Is About Fighting For Fair Taxation In Tucson
About Us - ENOUGH! has been working for decades for fair taxation in Tucson
We are opposed to the shifting of the tax burden from the wealthy and corporations onto the backs of the
middle class.
We generally oppose sales taxes, which are not paid by corporations, and fall more heavily on the poor.
We have strongly opposed the last five sales tax increases proposed for Tucson and have defeated four of
them, maybe more.
Our City Council is moving toward imposing a new sales tax on residential rents with no regard to the
suffering of the people who will have to pay more or for the business people who will have to collect and
manage the new tax.

About The Petition
We are circulating a petition that will amend the Tucson City Charter to
prohibit tax on residential rentals in Tucson.
Residential rental includes manufactured housing and ground leases, but
does not include rentals for less than 30 days.
The petition overrides anything the City Council does, now, or in the future,
and can be repealed only by a future vote of the people.
Our petition will be placed on the November ballot, for approval by the voters,
if we can collect approximately 9,500 signatures by July 1.
